See here's the real problem that I find with the talk of silksong. 1. I'm willing to bet that the delays are caused by an engine change since HK was developed on unity and the devs felt untrustworthy of unity after the whole price change debacle. And I'm willing to bet that the devs wouldn't want people to be pissed off at an announcement like "we've gotta restart development" hence the no communication. Which leads into a 2nd issue, which is hollow knight fans...why do you keep thinking hollow knight is gonna be announced at a Nintendo event? If anything it's gonna be at an Xbox event. Respectfully, you are always setting yourself up for disappointment.

Over hyping a game might be the best way to kill it, while people want more and more game dev cannot go the extra mile every time and at some point it lead to a crash, just expect the next game to be as good and you'll always be supprised, if your not well that means that the devs could understand they last game or that they gone too far from the last one

It took 3 years to make Hollow knight.... why are so many people defending Silksong? I've gotten hyped and lost interests so many time's now I'm apathetic to these games and its 100% on Cherry. I've known people who were excited and are now dead and will never get to play this game. You get one single year to promote your game when its almost ready and then release it on a set day 1 year later. It's actually incredibly simple and super frustrating so many people dont understand how it SHOULD be and are fine with being " patient.

“Waiting… kind of sucks” No the hell it doesn’t. If people are going to be drastic, I’d almost rather them not release the game. No, it’s not hard to just sit happily knowing it *will* come out, knowing you don’t need to make plans for it until *after* it’s out. There are millions of other things to do. Silksong fans make it out to be like they give up their lives, friends and family, and jobs just so sit and watch Team Cherry’s every move. Here’s a thought. Maybe don’t fucking do that. Not thinking about Silksong takes *LESS EFFORT* than thinking about it. Your mentality over a game series shouldn’t be “come on man, just one more hit, just give me one more hit, HEY TEAM CHERRY WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT COCAINE YOU PROMISED ME FUCK YOU”
